Your caption of photo with Lifeboat should read "Lifeboat and Gladstone House"

I'm reliably informed that Gladstone House fronts Church Street, and Compton House faces onto Cromwell Street.
ReplyDeleteWell I am happy to stand corrected but there's no much of a house facing Church Street? I never heard it called other than Gladstone House,
ReplyDeleteYou have set me thinking and somewhere at the back of my mind is the name "Cobden" House.......as the name of the Building fronting Cromwell St..............if so we'll call it a draw!!
ReplyDeleteWell I dont care what the building's called to be honest Arnish- i'm more interested in the cake photo! Baked by your own fair hand? What kind?
ReplyDeleteAlso the Stornoway Ssunday ones made me chuckle. Millport looks like that on a Sunday too, but probably for entirely different reasons...
Great photos, Arnish. And yes, I'll have a piece of cake, please, if you and LL have left any...
ReplyDeleteI don't think they're as different as you think they are landlady:-)
ReplyDeleteMyself, I think the cake needs a bit more explanation (Mr Lighthouse?) It looks mouth-watering and yet at the same time mysterious...
Great photos,thanks.
