South Harris

Another photo compilation, this time from a bustour of South Harris. Started out by going down the West Side of Harris to Leverburgh, and returning through the Bays area (on the east side).

Brilliant, It's such a wild beauty. I bet nobody owns a lawnmower ha. the area looks so remote,
it's foreign to me a who has always had neighbours quite close to my homes. What do they do if they fall out which they must. It must be hell.

  11. Such wonderful empty beaches with silver sands.
And yes I too can now see your objection to wind farms. They would be an abomination on that pristine landscape.

  12. thank you for those wonderful pictures. I enjoyed every one of them. It's been much too long since I visited and saw many of these lonely beaches with my own eyes. I am yearning to come back, and I promise - I will.
'till then - thank you for keeping me posted, Arnish!

Wind farms are not as harmless as made out to be. people over here who live near have health problems through the noise from the fan blades
etc. Just watched Utube again, the music really matches the video. Great.
